pathway – colour
· Source – pages of a book – into a computer through a scanning machine (DPI 300 SIZE A3)
· The electronic (scanned) pages were analysed from red, blue, yellow, green, purple and orange using a color collector (the standard for RGB colours) within the computer to come up with codes
· Compare the electronic RGB colours with the scanned-down colours. It was found that the scanner’s colour collection processing of the page was tabular rather than composite
· Comparative analysis by having the scanned version on the left and the RGB colour version on the right, and then printing them out by printing them, still found them to have tiny color differences observable to the eye
· By sorting the colours in the resource firstly through the three primary colours – red, yellow and blue, and then secondly through green, purple and orange, and then secondly by analysing their scanning errors under the scanning machine, and then by printing them out to observe and verify the errors, the viewer is reminded to classify them by focusing on the colours while going through the colour differences of the information under different machines
